Scope of application:
The purpose of heat treatment of stainless steel is to change its
physical properties, mechanical properties, residual stress and
restore the corrosion resistance seriously affected by
pre-processing and heating, so as to obtain the best performance of
stainless steel or enable stainless steel to carry out further cold
and hot processing. The so-called heat treatment refers to the
corresponding annealing, quenching and tempering, normalizing and
other treatments for different structures and different types of
stainless steel.
This kind of stainless steel is the most widely used and used. It
is characterized by austenitic structure at room temperature, no
phase transformation, and can not be hardened by heat treatment,
but can be hardened by cold work. The common heat treatment method
is solution treatment.
