Description
W-Mate™ 1.5 is a self-locking cable stop that reduces the user’s
dependence on crimps and swaging tools. The device is easy to
install and adjust using the keyless push/pull buttons to create an
adjustable loop in 1/16″ steel cable. This small, compact cable
stop and cable adjuster is a reliable solution for suspending items
in the ceiling ecosystem, including POP signs, navigation signs,
aisle markers, and ductwork. Constructed of high-grade aluminum,
the WIRE ROPE MATE is 100% recyclable. Aluminum is considered a
green building material because it can be easily recycled infinite
times, at just an energy consumption of 10% of the initial input,
without losing any of its properties.
Recommended for use with the FlatHat™ System for extra tall
ceilings to secure a steel cable loop on which to attach the
FlatHat™ Receiver. Works in conjunction with 1/16 inch (1.5
millimeters) 7 x 7 uncoated galvanized steel aircraft cable. The
safe working load should not exceed 80 pounds (36.3kg) for a static
load or 48 pounds (21.7kg) for a dynamic load.
Also available in Model 3.0 – Safe working load up to 300 pounds
(136.1kg) for a static load and 170 pounds (77.1kg) for a dynamic
load; works with 1/8 inch (3.2 millimeters) 7×7 uncoated galvanized
steel aircraft cable.
