RTTS Safety Joint for Drill Stem Testing Operation 9 5/8" x 10000psi

The RTTS safety joint is an optional emergency backoff tool of drill stem testing string. The RTTS Safety Joint should be run on all special tool and DST jobs directly above the packer. The purpose of the safety joint is to provide a disconnect point in the tool string above the packer for removal of all equipment above that point if the work string becomes stuck and the Safety Joint can still be operated. When the DST tools string is stuck, the dst tools above the RTTS safety joint can be retrieved.
