The drying technology is most suitable for producing the powder,
particle products from the materials, such as: Solution, emulsion,
soliquoid and pumpable paste states.
For this reason, when the particle size and distribution of the
final products, their residual water contents, the stacking density
and the particle shape must meet the precision standard, the spray
drying is one of the most desired technologies.
Working Principle
Spray drying is a method of producing dry powder from liquid or
slurry materials by rapidly drying with a hot gas. This is the
preferred method of drying of many thermally-sensitive materials
such as foods and pharmaceuticals.
Liquid material is pumped into the top installed centrifugal disc
atomizer by mono pump and atomized into fine droplets inside the
drying chamber. Meanwhile, clean hot air is blown into the air
distributor at the same time. The evenly and swirly distributed hot
air completely contacts with droplets for heat transfer. The
droplets are dried into powder in several seconds and sucked out
into the cyclone for discharging via exhaust fan.
LPG series spray dryer has been widely used in pharmaceutical,
chemical and foodstuff industry for drying liquid material into
fine powder.
Main Features
(1) Fast drying: liquid or wet raw material after atomization,
significantly increased surface area, in the hot air flow,
instantaneous evaporation can be 95% ~98% moisture, to complete the
drying time only a few seconds, and especially suitable for drying
of thermal sensitive material.
(2) Excellent drying effect: Finished products with good
uniformity, fluidity and solubility, the product high purity, good
quality.
(3) Production process is simple, convenient operation and control.
For material which moisture content 40-60% (special material even
moisture contents 90%) of the liquid to a dry powder products,
dried without crushing and screening, and product purity. Product
size, density and moisture can be adjusted( within a certain range)
by changing the operating conditions.

Applications
Centrifugal spray dryer is the most widely used process in liquid
shaping technology. Can be used for:
Chemical industry: sodium fluoride (potassium), basic dyes and pigments, dye
intermediates, compound fertilizers, formaldehyde silicic acid,
catalysts, sulfuric acid, amino acids, white carbon black, etc.
Plastic resin: AB, ABS emulsion, urinary formaldehyde resin, phenolic resin, dense
rubber (urea) formaldehyde resin, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride,
etc.
Food industry: fat-rich milk powder, gluten, cocoa milk powder, milk substitutes,
blood hunting powder, egg white (yellow), etc.
