Enveloping Worm Gear Description
The slewing drive is a new type of rotary and transmission product.
It is usually called slewing drive or slewing bearing, which is
usually composed of double enveloping worm, gear, housing, motor
and other components. Since the core components are the double
enveloping worm, it can mesh with the gear more closely and to
achieve multi tooth contact, thus improve the accuracy and the
holding moment torque. They can simultaneously withstand axial
forces, radial forces, and overturning moments. Compared with
traditional rotary products, the new slewing drive features easy
installation, easy maintenance and a greater degree of installation
space.

Applications
There are 10 different sizes of VE type slewing drives, starting
from 3' size to 25" inch, among them are 5", 7", 9" 12", 14", 17" ,
19" and 21". They are both widely used in solar tracking systems
(PV, CPV, HCPV and heliostat) and regular vehicles, such as man
lifts, truck cranes, as well as modular vehicles.
