Warp knitted fabric is a category of knitted fabric. Its structure
is formed by one or several groups of parallel yarns forming
circles along the warp direction of the fabric at the same time and
connecting with each other. Warp knitted fabric not only has the
commonness and characteristics of knitted fabric, but also has its
own characteristics, such as good transverse elasticity and
extensibility, stable longitudinal size, soft texture, small
separation and good air permeability
Compared with weft knitted fabrics, warp knitted fabrics generally
have less extensibility. Most weft knitted fabrics have significant
transverse elongation. The extensibility of warp knitted fabric is
related to the number of comb bars and structure. Some warp knitted
fabrics have lateral and longitudinal extensibility, but some
fabrics have good dimensional stability. Warp knitted fabrics can
use different structures to reduce the coil separation defects
caused by yarn breakage and holes like weft knitted fabrics. In
addition, warp knitted fabrics can use yarns of different
thicknesses for different weft lining weaving, form different forms
of mesh organization and simple pattern transformation, so almost
all fabric organizations can be woven.
1. Heat resistance of polyester warp knitted fabric polyester is
made by melt spinning, and the dimension of the formed fiber is
heated and melted again. It belongs to thermoplastic fiber. The
melting point of polyester fiber is relatively high, but the
specific thermal void and thermal conductivity are small, so the
dimensional heat resistance and absolute heat resistance of
polyester fiber are higher. It is the best of synthetic fibers.
2. Those with poor dyeability but good color fastness and not easy
to fade. Polyester molecular chain has no specific dyeing group and
small polarity, so it is difficult to dye the color, poor
dyeability and difficult for dye molecules to enter.
3. Polyester fabric has better light resistance. In addition to
being worse than acrylic fiber, its light resistance is better than
natural fiber fabric. Especially behind the glass, the sun
resistance is very good, almost equal to that of acrylic fiber.
