The AUX provides various management and auxiliary interfaces for
the system, and provides the centralized backup for the +3.3 V
power supply of the boards in the subrack.
Table 1 provides the functions and features of the AUX.

Provides the serial interfaces Serial 1-Serial 4, which can

The two pairs of time interfaces work in full-duplex mode and
support synchronous time input and output of two channels.
Both the time interface and the broadcast data interface support
the RS-422 level and RS-232 level.
Provides one F1 interface for the 64 kbit/s codirectional data
channel.
External time interface
Supports the input and output of two channels of time signals, with
the external time transmitted in 1pps+TOD mode.
For details about the external time input and output interfaces,
see Table 2 and Table 3.
Clock interface
Provides two BITS clock input interfaces (CLK1 or CLK2) and two
BITS clock output interfaces (CLK1 or CLK2) (impedance: 120 ohms).
Provides two BITS clock input interfaces (CLKI1 or CLKI2) and two
BITS clock output interfaces (CLKO1 or CLKO2)(impedance: 75 ohms).
Alarm interface
Provides 16-input and 4-output alarm interfaces.
Provides 4-output alarm cascading interfaces.
Cabinet alarm indicator
Provides four cabinet alarm indicator output interfaces.
Provides four cabinet alarm indicator input cascading interfaces.
Orderwire interface
Provides two NNI connection signaling interfaces.
Provides one orderwire phone interface.
Provides two NNI voice interfaces.
Interface used for communication with external boards
Provides one interface used for communication with external boards
Internal communication
Realizes communication between boards in the subrack.
Power supply backup and checking
Monitors the two independent -48 V power supplies, detects the
overvoltage (-72 V) and undervoltage (-38.4 V) conditions, and
reports alarms to the SCC unit in the case of overvoltage or
undervoltage occurs.
Provides the centralized backup for the +3.3 V power supply of the
boards in the subrack, which realizes the 1:N protection for the
secondary power supply of each board.
Detects the overvoltage (+3.8 V) and undervoltage (+3.1 V)
conditions for the +3.3 V backup power supply.
Audible alarm
Supports the audible alarm and the clearing of the audible alarm.
Ethernet port connection status checking
Supports the checking of the Ethernet port connection status.
Note: The COM interface is used only for communication with
external boards and must not be used at will. Otherwise, the
Ethernet communication between boards may become abnormal.
