Glass Fiber Geogrid Introduction
Fiberglass geogrid is an excellent geosynthetic material used for
pavement reinforcement, old road reinforcement, and reinforcement
of roadbeds and soft soil foundations. It has become an
irreplaceable material in the treatment of reflective cracks on
asphalt pavements. The product is a semi-rigid product made of
high-strength alkali-free glass fiber through international
advanced warp-knitting technology to make a net-like substrate and
surface coating treatment. It has high tensile strength and low
elongation in both directions of warp and weft, and has excellent
properties such as high temperature resistance, low cold
resistance, aging resistance, and corrosion resistance. It is
widely used in asphalt pavement, cement pavement and roadbed
reinforcement and railway Engineering projects such as roadbed,
dyke slope protection, airport runway, sand prevention and control,
etc.

Glass Fiber Geogrid Features:
It can be widely used in engineering fields such as old cement
pavement, airport runway maintenance, embankment, river bank, slope
protection and road bridge pavement reinforcement treatment. It can
strengthen and reinforce the pavement and prevent pavement rutting
fatigue cracks, It can disperse the bearing stress of the pavement,
prolong the service life of the pavement, have high tensile
strength, low elongation, no long-term creep, good physical and
chemical stability, good thermal stability, anti fatigue cracking,
high-temperature rutting, anti low-temperature shrinkage cracking,
delay and reduce reflection cracks.

Product use
1. The old asphalt concrete pavement shall be reinforced to
strengthen the asphalt surface course and prevent diseases.
2. Cement concrete pavement is reconstructed into composite
pavement to restrain reflection cracks caused by plate shrinkage.
3. Road expansion and reconstruction project to prevent cracks
caused by new and old joint and uneven settlement.
4. The reinforcement treatment of soft soil foundation is conducive
to the water precipitation and consolidation of soft soil,
effectively inhibit settlement, uniform stress distribution and
enhance the overall strength of subgrade.
5. The semi-rigid base course of the new road will produce
shrinkage cracks, and the reinforcement will be strengthened to
prevent the pavement cracks caused by the reflection of foundation
cracks

Laying method
(1) Mechanical laying
Install the whole roll of Geogrid on the unwinding rack in front of
the tractor, and pay attention to its viscosity facing down.
Move the tractor forward to ensure that the geogrid is flat and
stick to the road. s
Use a light rubber tyred roller to roll for 1-2 times.
Pave asphalt mixture pavement.
(2) Manual laying
Place the whole roll of Geogrid on the back of the truck or on the
unwinding rack of the trolley, paying attention to its viscosity
facing down.
Ensure that the unwinding shaft is locked and the cloth roll will
not loose freely.
When the truck (or trolley) moves forward slowly, step on one end
of the grid. If the grille is loose, it shall be adjusted
immediately to prevent wrinkling.
Use a light roller with rubber wheels to roll for 1-2 times and
activate the back glue of the grid to pave the asphalt pavement.
