Working has subcontractor, alongside a mechanical and electrical contractor, we helped design a building suitable for housing plant for heating the Erasmus Darwin energy centre at the Clifton campus, Nottingham Trent university.

The building needed designing with a specific layout of plant in mind, the bespoke design engineered to accommodate a complex plant arrangement.

The building required vented sheets to enable air flow through the building, there was also a requirement for louvres for connecting to air intake on the plant machinery.

There was a lot of pipe work protruding through the side cladding which required flashing around, this was carried out when all the pipe work had been positioned.

H profile steel structure, an economic and efficient cross-section material with better arrangement of sectional area and reasonable proportion between strength and weight, is widely used in industrial plants, civil buildings, bridges, electrified brackets of railway and other building projects, due to its advantages in bending ability, simple construction, low cost and light weight.
