The floating-type pneumatic rubber fender is made of synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber sheet with compressed air inside to enable it to float on the water and work as a shock absorber between two ships, or between ships and berthing structure when they come alongside each other on the water.

Basic body construction of Pneumatic Rubber Fender consists of an outer rubber layer, cord layers and inner rubber layer. All of these are vulcanized together. End flanges are at both end for convenience of air charge and other purposes.

Fender production Line

We buy raw material natural rubber(from Tailand , Vietnam, Yunnan ) , carbon black , SBR , etc . Then Mix them as the rates(which can make sure the performance of airbags and fenders) , after machine mixing and calendering , then we can see the fabric rubber layer and rubber plate . Now the workers can use them to produce the airbags and fenders . After then , we send the products to the vulcanizer to finished vulcanization . Then we will inflate the products to check the air leakage . If no problem we will packing them , waiting to ship to u .

Structure characteristics of the pneumatic rubber fender

• The outer rubbers are used to protect the cord layers and inner rubber from abrasion and other external forces. This rubber compound have sufficient tensile and tear resistance strength to withstand anticipated weather conditions and severe usage.
• The reinforcement synthetic-tyre-cord layer strong enough to maintain the internal air pressure of the fender.
• The inner rubber layer seals the pressurized air inside the fender.
