Introudction of Multi Cycle Circulating Valve

Multi Cycle Circulating Valve is the OMNI valve in Halliburton, it is a full bore and annulus pressure-operated re-closable circulating valve, the valve can be open and closed many times and operated by repeatedly cycling the annulus pressure. The OMNI Valve is acceptable for the formation testing in cased hole, oil tube tradition perforating tube string testing and cycle operation in the conjunction of perforation and full-opening formation testing.

For the tubing conveyed perforating before finishing the test, the tool string comprises the TCP gun ,the packer,by-pass valve. Then you can connect the OMNI valve in the string. The valve can test the tubing by the annulus pressure and make sure the negative pressure for perforating. After the perforating, the oil and the gas begin to flow. When requiring killing well you can operate the valve repeatedly and make that the tool circulates the completion fluids in the circulating position; the oil and the gas flow in the test position, do so many times until the completion fluids is adjusted to a proper specific gravity to control the oil well. In the course of the killing well, the packer is always in the setting position, so using the valve can approve the security in the process of the killing well.
