Introudction of Mechanical Setting Retrievable Packer

The Mechanical Setting Retrievable Packer is a sort of the full bore retrievable packer, which is the test packer for Drill stem testing operation in well testing service. Featured with full-opening and hookwall, retrievable is used for well testing job, treating operation, and squeeze cementing operations as well. And normally for the DST operation, the retrievable packer should be run in the hole with a circulating valve assembly.

The mechanical setting retrievable packer consists of a J-slot mechanism, hydraulic slips, mechanical slips, and packer elements. With large, heavy-duty slips in the hydraulic hold down mechanism, the mechanical setting retrievable can be prevented from being pumped up the hole.

The mechanical setting retrievabel is the full-opening type, which can allow the fluid flow and tool movement through the tubing bore, also this design allow pumping large volumes of fluid with a minimum pressure drop, and the passage of a through tubing type perforating gun during the TCP operation.
