Accordingly to stator winding way, different types of needle
winding machine can have one , two , three,
four needles.
For 4 poles stator, we usually suggest customer with 4needles
winding machine WIND-1A-TSM,
it can get the stator fast even there will be 4pcs begining wire
and 4pcs ending wire needed to be
connected,
The needle is driven by cam device rotation which drive the winding
spindle,

May I know the reason that you'd prefer 1 needle or 2 needes, is it
because of the bridge wire showed on
photo?
Basic machine type WIND-1-TSM with 1 needle is for production of
prototypes of stators with small
quantity,
It can wind the slot one by one, and you may need to put the bridge
wire by hand if you use the type
WIND-1-TSM as your stator insulation cap interfre the machine place
bridge wire automatically.
The poles of shaded pole induction motor consist of 4 slots, which
are cut across the laminations.
The smaller part of the slotted pole is short-circuited with the
help of a coil. The coils are made up of
copper wire and it is highly inductive in nature. This coil is
known as shading coil. The part of the pole
which has the coil is called the shaded part and the other part of
the pole is called unshaded part.
