Self recovery optical fiber Ethernet switch (fiber media converter)
is a switch that can support the group ring network protocol. It is
with ring network redundant backup line. If a link network is
formed, the network will automatically recover if a link fails to
enable the standby line.
The so-called self healing ring (SHR), generally refers to the use
of ADM to form a circular network to achieve self-healing.
According to the classification of optical fiber number of
self-healing ring, there are two fiber ring and four fiber ring;

2 optical ports, single or double fiber, there are two kinds of
self-healing methods:
Two fibers unidirectional self healing ring: The two fibers
unidirectional channel protection ring is realized by two optical
fibers, one is used to transmit the service signal, and the other
is used for protection. The basic principle of the system is 1+1
protection (first end bridging and terminal switching), that is,
using 1 fiber and 2 optical fiber to carry business signals at the
same time and transmit them in two directions respectively, but the
receiver only chooses one of them. From the perspective of
realization function, this protection belongs to the subnet
connection protection type. From the capacity perspective, the
traffic capacity of the ring is equal to the sum of all traffic
entering the ring.
Two fibers two channels bi-directional protection ring: also use 2
fibers, and can be divided into 1+1 and 1:1 in two ways, 1+1 method
and unidirectional path protection ring is basically the same
(transmit at the same time but receive priority), just return the
signal in the opposite direction ( bi-directional). Its main
advantage is to use equipment without protection ring or reuse
channel function of same ADM equipment used in linear situation,
thus increasing the total business volume of transplanting. Two
fibers bi-directional protection can also adopt the 1:1 mode, that
is, the extra traffic can be transferred in the protection channel,
only when the fault occurs, it will turn from the working channel
to the protection channel.

Provide remote loss diagnosis, electrical port link and fiber port
link diagnosis, dynamic data transmission, full duplex / half
duplex and rate indicator;
Electrical and optical fiber support hot plug, and automatic cross
recognition, can be connected to computer network card, hub or
switch;
The average working time of no fault is over 100 thousand hours,
which is in line with the telecom level operation standard;
With wide range of dynamic power supply range AC100V~AC275V, can
effectively prevent the surge or pulse peak in the power grid.
