PE-AL-PE tube exactly work for cold water temperature under 65
degree, PEX-AL-PEX exactly work for hot water temperature up to 95
degree. so we can also say PE means the material for cold water,
PEX means the material for hot water.
PE is laminated with the aluminum layer and special glue in the
middle. it is also called five layer composite pipe:
PE/glue/AL/gluePE.
