The vertical screw mill (also known as Verti Mill/Tower Mill/Vertical Screw Mill) is an efficient ultra-fine grinding equipment. Its core function is to grind ores and various materials of a certain particle size into finer particles. The discharge particle size can be as low as 0.02mm. It is widely adapted to the material processing needs of many industries.

Its application fields cover three core sectors: the first is the mining industry, including metal ore crushing and grinding, non-metallic ore crushing and deep processing, comprehensive utilization of low-grade minerals and the extraction of useful elements from tailings; the second is the metallurgical industry, covering powder metallurgy, mechanical alloying, metallurgical raw material processing, metallurgical waste recycling and cemented carbide production; it is also compatible with the ultra-fine grinding needs of materials in other industrial fields, and has strong adaptability.

2. Working principle and energy saving advantages

The equipment adopts the principle of stirring grinding, and uses the stirrer to drive the grinding media balls and mineral materials in the stirring tank to form multi-dimensional cyclic motion and rotational motion. The gravity and rotational centrifugal force of the medium balls and mineral materials are used to cause strong impact, friction and shearing between the medium balls, the mineral materials and the contact interface between the two. The mineral materials deform and break under the action of momentum impulse, and are finally crushed to the target particle size.

Compared with traditional ball mills, the energy saving efficiency of this product can reach 30% to 50% under the same power. The finer the particle size of the product, the more significant the energy saving advantage. The maximum feed particle size is compatible with 6mm, and the processing range is wide, which can meet the grinding needs under different working conditions.
