What is it?
In the simplest terms, the T8122 is the interface between the
Trusted Processor and the I/O expander bus.
When the processor says, "Shut down Valve A," it screams that
command out. The T8122 catches that command and ensures it gets
down the line to the correct I/O module instantly. It handles the
high-speed chatter between the "thinking" part of your cabinet and
the "doing" part.

and creates a highway for data to travel to the Expander Interface.

Adapter Unit and Trusted TMR Processor, and the configurations that
can be enabled when they are used.
All variants listed support Dual (“enhanced”) Peer-to-Peer
communication with other Trusted Systems. This functionality is
achieved through the dxpnc40 I/O definition, along with its
associated data transfer I/O definitions.
In short, regardless of the variant selected, enhanced peer-to-peer
data exchange between Trusted Systems is fully supported.
