PFVK135 3BSE007135R1 ABB Signal connection cable assembly S800/S900 I/O system
Product Overview
ABB PFVK135 is a prefabricated I/O signal connection cable assembly specially designed for the S800/S900 I/O series of AC 800M control systems. One end of this cable is a high-density D-sub 37-pin male connector (used for inserting into the bottom interface of the I/O module), and the other end is Flying Leads, which is convenient for connecting to field terminal blocks, sensors or actuators.
The PFVK135 adopts a fully shielded twisted-pair structure, ensuring signal integrity even in strong electromagnetic interference (EMI) environments. It is widely used in industrial automation projects such as power, chemical, water treatment, and metallurgy, where signal accuracy and reliability are strictly required.
Core features
Compatible module types: Applicable to all S800/S900 analog I/O
modules with D-sub 37-pin bottom interface, including:
AI810 (8-channel analog Input)
AO810 (4-channel analog output)
AI801 / AO801 (Compact Analog Module)
Other 37-pin interface S800 analog modules
Cable structure
16 pairs of twisted shielded wire (24 AWG)
Overall, it is double-shielded with aluminum foil and woven mesh
Outer sheath: Flame-retardant PVC (compliant with UL 94V-0)
Technical parameters
Process control station: Connect the AI810 module to the 4-20 mA
pressure/temperature transmitter
Actuator control: Drive the electric control valve or inverter
analog input through AO810 + PFVK135
Remote I/O Station (RI/O) : Reliable on-site signal access is
achieved in the BC810K remote station
System integration and transformation: Replace traditional
multi-core cables, simplify wiring and enhance maintainability
Laboratory and test bench: Quickly build a reconfigurable analog
signal test environment
Installation and Usage instructions
Module end connection
Align the 37-pin male D-sub with the socket at the bottom of the
I/O module.
Gently press in and tighten the locking screws on both sides
(suggested torque: 0.4 N·m).
On-site terminal wiring
Refer to the line numbers in the module manual (such as Pin 1 =
Ch1+, Pin 2 = Ch1-);
Connect the corresponding numbered loose wires to the terminal
block or equipment terminal.
It is recommended to use number tubes or labels for secondary
identification.
Shielding treatment
Connect the outer shielding net of the cable to the grounding
copper bar of the cabinet (single-point grounding).
Avoid leaving the shielding layer suspended to achieve the best
anti-interference effect.
Wiring suggestions
It should be laid separately from power cables with a spacing of no
less than 30 cm.
If you need to pass through the same bridge frame, please use metal
partitions for isolation.
