Product Overview
ABB CA4-10 is a compact thermal overload relay in the ABB CA4
series, specifically designed to protect small three-phase
asynchronous motors (rated current 0.1-10A) from overload and phase
loss faults. This model is equipped with one normally open (NO)
auxiliary contact and supports automatic reset function. It can be
directly assembled with ABB A series contactors to form an
integrated motor starting and protection unit. With high
reliability, modular structure and international certification, it
is widely used in industrial control cabinets, building automation
systems and OEM equipment.
Key features

Adopting the principle of bimetallic strip thermal sensing, the
tripping characteristic complies with the IEC/EN 60947-4-1 standard
(Class 10A), ensuring that the power supply of the motor is cut off
in time when overloaded.

It is equipped with a built-in three-phase current imbalance
detection mechanism. Once any phase is disconnected, it will
trigger a trip to prevent the motor from burning out due to
single-phase operation.

The width is only 45mm
Supports 35mm DIN rail mounting
It can be directly assembled on the right side of ABB A series
contactors without the need for additional main circuit wiring

protection requirements.

The transparent window allows for a direct view of the tripping
status. The reset button is easy to operate and supports upgrading
