1.Overview of the 032U7120 Danfoss
The Danfoss 032U7120 is a DN20 normally closed solenoid valve from
the EV220B series, designed for industrial fluid control and
suitable for neutral media such as water, oil, and gas. Its brass
body and FKM seals offer excellent corrosion and high-temperature
resistance, ensuring long-term stable operation under complex
operating conditions.
This solenoid valve has a rated voltage of 48VDC and offers high
drive power, making it suitable for applications requiring fast
response and frequent opening and closing. With a maximum operating
pressure of 16 bar, it offers fast response and excellent sealing,
effectively preventing fluid leakage and improving system
efficiency and safety.
The Danfoss 032U7120 is widely used in HVAC, refrigeration systems,
water treatment, and industrial automation, particularly in medium-
to large-scale systems requiring high flow control and sealing
performance. Its coil has an IP65 protection rating, providing
excellent dust and water resistance, making it suitable for a

The Danfoss 032U7120 is a EV220B series servo-type, diaphragm-type,
two-way, solenoid valve. Its valve body and connector are made of
dezincification-resistant brass, with a G3/4 (ISO 228-1) threaded
connection. It has a flow rate of 20 mm, a Kv value of 8 m³/h, and
a Cv value of 9.25 gal/min. It operates reliably within a pressure
differential range of 0.3–16 bar, with a maximum pressure
resistance of 24 bar and a maximum media viscosity of 50 cSt. It is
suitable for neutral liquids or gases with temperatures between
-30°C and 120°C, including water, brine, and steam (≤4 bar).
The valve is a normally closed (NC) type with a servo-operated
diaphragm structure, opening in just 40 ms. A built-in one-way
arrow embossing indicates flow direction, preventing reverse
installation. The seal is made of EPDM, and an optional balancing
hole design reduces the shock of the opening and closing pressure
differential, extending service life. The coil uses a Class B 13.5
mm universal armature system, has an upper ambient temperature
limit of 80°C, an IP65 protection rating, and supports multiple
voltages, including 24 VDC and 230 VAC. It can be quickly replaced
on-site without special tools; maintenance only requires replacing
the diaphragm assembly or coil.
This product has passed international classification society and
health certifications such as DNVGL-CG-0339, GL, and PZH, is exempt
from China RoHS, and complies with WEEE recycling standards. The
net weight of each unit is 0.86 kg, and the whole box is packed
with 24 units. Its high flow rate, low pressure drop, corrosion
resistance, and marine-grade reliability make it widely used in
HVAC hot water systems, industrial cooling loops, seawater
desalination, food-grade water treatment, and building automation,
where long periods of unattended operation are required. It is
Danfoss's main model for medium- and high-pressure, large-caliber
fluid control.
