Description :
VP/Hexadecene copolymer also called Vinyl Pyrrolidone/Cetene Copolymer. It has excellent film-forming properties and can form a soft, dense
and continuous covering film on the surface of skin, hair or nails.
This film has the ability to retain water and can make the skin and
hair feel smooth. It also has good stability and a certain
tolerance to acids, alkalis and other substances.
It is widely used in the cosmetics field. It can be used as a
binder to better combine different cosmetic components; as a
film-forming agent, it provides waterproof properties for sunscreen
and other cosmetics, enhancing the sun protection effect. It can
also be used in makeup products such as mascara, lipstick,
eyeshadow, and foundation liquid, providing good pigment
dispersion, anti-transferability and stability. In antiperspirant
products, it can be used as an emulsifying stabilizer to enhance
the effect of antiperspirants.
