1. Introduction

0.5J spring hammer applies for performing the impact test, to appliance inlets designed for surface-mounting and the insulating material shrouds of plug connectors and appliance outlets. 0.5J spring hammer designs according to IEC60068-2-75 test Ehb, the hammer head has a hemispherical face of polyamide with radius of 10mm.

As per standard IEC60320-1 clause 23.4, the test sample is rigidly supported and 12 impacts are applied, there to each of four places chosen so as to include the weakest.

Answer: Yes, the IK04 spring-operated hammer can send to the third-labs authorized by ISO17025 and get the calibration certificate, but the buyer should undertake the charges.

Answer: The cover of the spring hammer are made by SUS304 stainless steel, and the hammer head is made of polyamide.
