2. Rectifier System Description
The EVCSE48400 consists of VSM-B control module, VRM48 rectifier
module, and etc. And there is AC-DC distribution unit. It’s
capacity can reach 48V/50A~400A combining racks with rectifiers.
1) The rectifier module adopts active power factor compensation
technology, and the power factor value reaches 0.99.
2) The normal working range of AC input voltage is wide to 90～290V,
Single Phase, (323V~480V ac, 3 Phase).
3) The rectifier module adopts full-bridge soft-switching
technology, and the efficiency is up to 96%.
4) Smart battery management. There are load power-off and battery
low-voltage protection (LVLD+LVBD) and secondary power-off
(secondary power switch) functions, which can realize functions
such as temperature compensation, automatic equalization and
floating charge control, automatic voltage regulation, battery
capacity calculation, and online battery testing.
5) The rectifier module adopts non-damage hot-swappable technology,
plug and play, and the replacement time is less than 1min.
6) Networked design, providing multiple communication interfaces
(such as RS485, dry contact), flexible networking, real-limited
local and remote monitoring, unattended.
7) Lightning protection design for AC and DC sides, suitable for
thunderstorm areas.

3. Model EVCSE48400 Operating Principle
Under normal conditions, every parameter of rectifier modules and
distribution unit are all under control of the monitoring module,
operating according to the pre-set parameter or user’s commands. If
AC mains fault, the system will be powered by the battery. With the
battery discharge, the terminal voltage of the battery starts to
descend. When the battery voltage is under 42V±0.5V, the monitoring
module reports battery under voltage alarm signal and cuts off the
load output, then the power system stops working. When the external
AC mains recovers, the system will resume to the normal work state.
(All above monitoring data are system default values that users can
reset).
