Brief Introduction:
The iqualitrol METALL-160 is a PLC-controlled metallographic sample
cutting machine. It uses a control system to drive the stepper,
stepper motor motion control, automatic and precise control of the
X, Y, and Z directions. The cutting speed can be changed according
to the hardness of the material to achieve the fastest cutting
effect. The cutting spindle speed is frequency-controlled and the
cutting line speed of the cutting blade can be adjusted. It has
very high reliability and control capabilities.
1. Electronic handwheel, automatic and arbitrary conversion, X, Y,
Z manual adjustment and three-speed adjustment can better control
the moving speed and cut the knife.
2. The touch screen displays various cutting data, which is more
accurate, clear at a glance, and accurately positioned, so that the
workpiece can be better positioned during cutting.
3. There are three functional cutting methods: chopping cutting,
intermittent cutting, and reciprocating cutting. When cutting, the
cutting speed can be adjusted according to the hardness of the
material to achieve the purpose of fast cutting of the workpiece.
When cutting steel solid cylinders, different cutting methods can
be selected.
4. In order to facilitate the cleaning of the cutting room and the
safety of the spindle motor, we have adopted electromechanical
separation; the cutting room motor is waterproof and isolated. An
extra-large observation window is installed on the cutting room
safety protection door, so that users can easily observe the entire
cutting process of the sample; LED lighting is installed in the
cutting room to achieve effective lighting of the entire cutting
room area; increase the brightness and clarity of the workroom;

Features:
The frequency conversion motor is connected to the spindle through
a poly-V belt, and the cutting disc is installed on the spindle to
better strengthen the rigidity of the spindle, making it more solid
during cutting and improving the stability of the machine. The
frequency conversion speed regulation of the spindle is more
stable. The simple design, solid structure, and direct drive
provide power transmission between the motor and the cutting disc,
and ensure high efficiency, low noise, minimal maintenance and
longer service life.
Designed for large-capacity cutting of large workpieces, METALL-160
makes it easier to maintain machine parts and handle large
workpieces. The sliding door and hinged door give you more space
and unlimited access, so that large workpieces can be loaded in the
right position more conveniently. The workpiece can also be sent
into the cutting room from three directions: top, front, and left.
The working area adopts a fully enclosed structure and has a
transparent protective cover for observation during cutting. It is
equipped with cooling water to provide storage of coolant. Do not
use tap water as coolant. After the cutting work is completed, use
the left flushing faucet to flush the indoor garbage and close the
safety door.
