Q1: The print head is partially blurry. What could be the cause?

A1: It could be dust or paper residue on the print head surface. We recommend wiping it with a special cleaning swab dipped in alcohol. If the problem persists after cleaning, it could be damage to the heating element, requiring a print head replacement.

Q2: Can this print head be used with non-genuine thermal paper?

A2: We do not recommend this. Non-genuine thermal paper may reduce print clarity due to differences in coating formulas and contaminate the print head with residual colloid, shortening its lifespan. We recommend using genuine thermal paper recommended by Comen.

Q3: How do I determine if a print head has reached the end of its lifespan and needs to be replaced?

A3: If overall print clarity is significantly reduced (grayscale value is less than 50% of the initial value), large areas of missing prints persist after repeated cleanings, or the cumulative print length exceeds 30,000 meters, we recommend replacing the print head.
