The prepackaged magnesium anode is a combination of a cast
magnesium anode placed at the center of a cloth bag filled with a
highly hygroscopic backfill mixture. The backfill includes 75%
gypsum, 20% bentonite, and 5% sodium sulfate. Usually, this setup
is then securely enclosed in a plastic or paper outer lining for
transportation purposes, which should be removed before
installation.
The efficiency of an anode can be significantly improved when it is
pre-packaged with this depolarizing backfill. This special mixture
helps reduce the resistance between the anode and soil, making it
easier for electrical current to reach the intended structure.
Our magnesium anode is assembled with the cable and joints sealed
using epoxy resin. These prepackaged magnesium anodes are designed
to meet the rapid and high-efficiency demands of engineering
