Description:

The Rexroth DR6DP2-5X/75YM is a high-performance direct-acting three-way pressure reducing valve manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, belonging to the DR6DP series. This valve is designed for use in hydraulic systems, primarily functioning to reduce and stabilize high input pressure to a set secondary pressure, while also providing secondary circuit pressure limiting capabilities to protect system components from damage caused by excessive pressure. The DR6DP2-5X/75YM is normally open in its initial state, allowing hydraulic fluid to flow from port P to port A. When the pressure at port A reaches the set value, the control spool moves under the action of the compression spring, adjusting the orifice opening to maintain a constant pressure at port A. If the pressure at port A continues to rise due to external load, the spool moves further, diverting excess fluid through port T(Y) back to the tank to prevent further pressure increase. This valve can also be optionally equipped with a check valve to enable free return flow from port A to port P.
