M CA40H is a high-strength cyanoacrylate quick drying adhesive (instant adhesive) produced by 3M Company in the United States. It has a medium viscosity (400-600cP) and a slow curing speed (initial curing in 5-40 seconds, complete curing in 24 hours), designed for bonding various difficult to stick materials such as EPDM rubber, flexible ethylene resin, metal, plastic, etc. Its transparent liquid formula complies with MIL-A-46050C Type II, Class 3 standards and is suitable for industrial, electronic, and home repair scenarios

Product Overview

As a star product in the 3M Scotch Weld series, CA40H optimizes viscosity and curing time based on traditional cyanoacrylate adhesives. Its high viscosity characteristics can effectively fill gaps below 0.1mm, and the curing speed is slower (compared to the CA40 model), providing users with longer component alignment time. This adhesive can cure at room temperature without the need for a catalyst, and the single component design simplifies the operation process. Only a few drops are needed to achieve high-strength bonding (the lap shear strength of steel can reach 1500psi). In addition, it exhibits excellent tolerance to soap and isopropanol, making it suitable for use in humid environments

Special Properties
