Basic Properties
Araldite® DIY39G is a versatile, two-part epoxy paste adhesive that
cures at room temperature, offering high strength and toughness. It
bonds metals, ceramics, glass, rubber, and rigid plastics, suitable
for both industrial and craft applications.
Product Description
Araldite DIY39G features a 100:80 weight ratio (A/B components),
forming a light-yellow paste with a 100-minute pot life (25°C). Its
low shrinkage and dynamic load resistance ensure durable bonds,
achieving 16.3 MPa lap shear strength (aluminum, per ISO 4587).
Key Features
Extended Work Time: 100-minute pot life per 100g at 25°C for
complex assemblies.
Chemical Resistance: Resists water, oils, and chemicals (see
table).
Temperature Range: Stable from -50°C to 100°C (shear modulus 1.5
GPa/-50°C).
Safety: Low toxicity with basic PPE (gloves, ventilation).
Applications
Industrial: Automotive part repair, electronics potting, aerospace
composites.
DIY: Model assembly, jewelry fixing, household repairs.
