Araldite® 2012 is a two-component, room-temperature-curing,
high-strength structural adhesive with medium viscosity. It
features rapid curing, low shrinkage, and versatility for bonding
diverse materials, including metals, ceramics, plastics, and
rubber.

Product Description
Araldite® 2012 is designed for both industrial and craft
applications, offering exceptional toughness and resilience. Its
balanced formulation ensures strong adhesion even under mechanical
stress or environmental exposure. The adhesive is supplied in
cartridges with integrated mixers for easy dispensing.
Special Properties
High Lap Shear Strength: Bonds metals like steel (3,046 psi) and
aluminum (2,611 psi) after sandblasting pretreatment (ISO 4587).
Chemical Resistance: Maintains strength after immersion in
gasoline, lubricating oil, and acetic acid (see table below).
Temperature Stability: Retains performance from 50°F to 212°F
(10°C–100°C).
