DOW's DOWSIL™ 737 is a primerless, one-part neutral cure silicone
sealant compliant with ASTM C920. It features rapid
room-temperature curing (3-6 min skin time), extreme temperature
resilience (-65℃ to 177℃), UV stability, and permanent elasticity
from 100% silicone rubber formulation.
Core Characteristics
The oxime cure mechanism activates upon airborne moisture exposure
to form flexible seals. Key advantages: direct adhesion to 20+
substrates (e.g. ABS, anodized Al, SS) without primers; zero
slump/sag; rain resistance after 14-min tack-free time; handling
strength in 24hrs. Limitations: Not FDA-approved for food contact;
may discolor brass/copper and stress-craze polycarbonate in
confined spaces.
