DOWSIL™ 791 is a one-part, neutral-cure silicone weatherproofing
sealant designed for building facades and glazing applications.
Product Description
DOWSIL™ 791 offers exceptional weatherability and elasticity,
maintaining performance stability within -50°C to 150°C without
hardening or cracking. Its ready-to-use formula requires no mixing
and cures into a durable, flexible silicone rubber seal, suitable
for vertical and wide joints.
Special Properties
Key Features:
- Weatherability: Resists sunlight, rainwater, snow, ozone, and
extreme temperatures.
- Workability: 20-minute working time, 45-50 minutes tack-free time
(23°C, 50% RH).
- Non-sag: Ideal for vertical joints; minimum joint width/depth of
6mm.
- Certifications: Complies with GB/T 14683-2003, JC/T 882-2001, and
ASTM C920.
Applications
- Glass curtain walls and aluminum extrusions in high-rise
buildings.
- Composite panels in harsh weather conditions.
