DOWSIL™ SJ-168 is a one-part, neutral cure silicone weatherseal
supplied in 300ml cartridges and 590ml foil sausages. It cures by
reacting with atmospheric moisture at room temperature, offering a
10-minute work time, 20-minute tack-free time, and 1-2mm/day deep
cure rate.
Product Overview
Engineered for non-structural building joints, it delivers
long-term flexible sealing. The neutral cure mechanism prevents
corrosion on substrates like glass and aluminum. Simple application
with standard caulking guns requires no mixing. The cured elastomer
provides durable waterproofing, resisting temperatures from -50°C
to 150°C, UV radiation, rain, and snow
