Product Introduction:
UL910/NFPA262 Steiner horizontal tunnel furnace is mainly used for
the flame retardant performance test of CMP class wires and cables,
and is mainly used for cables in horizontal subsystems that are
laid directly in ventilated or forced ventilation environments
without metal pipelines. This flame retardant test standard
represents the most stringent flame retardant test standard of UL
in the United States, and even the entire wire and cable flame
retardant test, only the use of fluorine material sheath layer
cable can pass this flame retardant test method. Due to the high
decomposition temperature (more than 400 degrees) and high ignition
point (more than 800 degrees), fluoroplastics are not easy to burn
when the fire is not large, so it has better fire resistance than
other organic materials.
Technical parameters of tunnel furnace:
1. The combustion box is made of stainless steel, and refractory
bricks are laid inside; Good thermal insulation performance. The
internal dimensions of the combustion box are 305mm x 451mm, and
the length is 7.6m;
2. The internal fixtures are made of SUS304 stainless steel, which
is anti-rust and anti-corrosion;
3. The double-layer quartz glass observation window can observe the
flame spreading distance, and display the position of the flame
through the indicator light, which is more intuitive to record.
4. The height of the combustion box is suitable for personnel to
watch the co5. The combustion box cover adopts the overall design,
adopts the water tank sealing design according to the standard, and
is equipped with a 2mm thick 304 stainless steel hot steel sealing
tank to ensure that the flue gas does not leak during the test
process.
6. The box cover is made of refractory materials and stainless
steel materials, and the box cover is equipped with a hook and a
hoisting box cover device;
7. The specimen holder is equipped with a cooling water circulation
support bracket, which is resistant to high temperature and can
support calcium silicate board and other combustion coverings;

real-time monitoring of exhaust pressure changes during the test
process. The detection range is 0~250Pa, the accuracy is ± 0.5Pa,
and the system indication pressure test accuracy is ±2Pa;
12. Fan: 380V, 50Hz, 3Kw equipped with inverter to change the wind
speed. The maximum flow rate is at least 8000m3/h, which can
discharge the flue gas generated by sample combustion out of the
outdoor in time to ensure the safety of the test;
13. Double-head copper gas burner: the burner is 1320mm away from
the air inlet, which can output the standard 5.3MJ/min heat, and
can control the gas flow rate by the mass flow meter according to
different standards, the measurement range is 0~160L/min, and the
calorific value output of the burner can be changed, and the
maximum output energy can reach 100MJ/min;
14. Automatic ignition system: to ensure the safety performance of
the test, high-voltage ignition, 12KV, 50mA, the minimum high
voltage of the ignition electrode is 1.8kVp;
15. Smoke density system: provide a separate signal processing
system to ensure that the sensor is linear;
16. Automatically record temperature and flue gas sensing signals,
and the sample collection frequency is 1Hz;
17. Mass flow controller: SUS316 stainless steel, maximum pressure
1000psi (70bar), leakage rate less than 1×10-7ml/s, calibrated by
NIST, 0~5VDC and 4~20mA signal, loop protection, propane flow range
0~2.3g/s, control speed ≤2s, control accuracy of ±1%FS,
repeatability ± 0.5FS, temperature range 0~50°C, humidity range
0~90%, digital displayThe gas supply meets the heat requirements of
5000Btu (5.3MJ)/min during the automatic control test, and the
software automatically records the amount of gas used;
18. Standard test software can automatically record test data such
as wind speed, temperature, smoke density and so on.
