Compact Structure And Reliable Operation GPY Series Disc Filter

The GPY series disc filter is a highly efficient solid-liquid separation equipment, mainly used for the dehydration and solid-liquid separation of fine-grained materials.

Purpose

It is mainly used for dewatering fine-grained materials such as 0-0.5mm flotation clean coal and tailings, and can also be used for solid-liquid separation in fields such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, petroleum, and sewage treatment.

Working principle

By means of the pressure difference formed by the vacuum pump, a filter cake is formed on the filter cloth. The liquid phase is discharged through the filter cake and the filter cloth, achieving solid-liquid separation. The filter cake passes through the drying zone to remove most of the moisture, then is blown off by compressed air in the air-blowing zone, and finally is discharged by the scraper, completing one cycle.

3. The central shaft is of welded structure, which is light in weight, has good rigidity, high strength and a large filtrate discharge capacity. The bushing is made of SP composite material, which is lightweight and wear-resistant.

4. It adopts a new type of star-point plastic sector plate, which is light in weight, high in strength, good in hydrophobicity, high in opening rate, excellent in dehydration and cake removal, low in moisture content of the filter cake, long in service life, corrosion-resistant and convenient for decoration.

5. Stainless steel wire woven filter cloth is adopted, which has a good filtration effect, low moisture content of the filter cake, high cake shedding rate and long service life.

6. The floating sealed stuffing box of the impeller agitator is adopted, which allows the agitator shaft to have a certain degree of floating, providing good sealing effect and facilitating the replacement of sealing parts.

7. The simultaneous use of instantaneous air blowing and suspended scraper unloading devices not only ensures a high cake unloading rate (reaching over 90%), but also allows the scraper to swing along with the filter disc, maintaining a good force state on the filter disc and reducing the load on the main unit.

In addition to the above advantages, the new series of GPY20-120 products have foundation dimensions and discharge port dimensions designed in accordance with PG products, which is convenient for the renovation of old factories and the renewal of equipment.
