BS EN 13823 SBI Product Introduction:
The sample is placed on a mobile cart located in the exhaust system
so that the combustion reaction of the sample can be displayed and
visible automatically. Calculating the heat release rate (HRR),
smoke release rate (SRR), and other physical properties evaluated
by visual observation to evaluate the combustion characteristics of
the machinery. The fire growth rate index (FIGRA) is the most
representative measure factor in the SBI measurement range; there
are also factors measuring oxygen consumption representative, CO,
CO2 generation amount, smoke growth rate index (SMOGRA), and so on.
The maximum heat release rate is 1MW.

BS EN 13823 SBI Features:
1.A trolley, a fixed frame, a gas collecting hood, a collector, a J
type exhaust pipe, a centrifugal fan, a wind speed control device,
the comprehensive measurement section, a gas analysis cabinet, and
a data acquisition system comprise the Single Burning Item (SBI)
test system.
2.Two vertical sample specimens can be installed on the trolley. A
sand box burner is located at the bottom of the vertical angle.
Surface ignition is used, and the flame detection system includes a
flameout protection device.
3.The gas collecting hood is supported by the fixed frame. As a
flameout protection device, the frame is fitted with an auxiliary
burner and a flame detecting system.
4.Stainless steel gas collector at the top of the fixed frame for
collecting combustion gases;
a stainless steel J-type smoke exhaust pipe with a 50mm high
temperature resistant mineral cotton insulation and an inner
diameter of 315 + 5 mm;
5.The smoke exhaust system must convert frequencies to continuously
expel smoke at a rate of 0.50 m3/s to 0.65 m3/s;
a mass flow controller with a 0g/s to 2.5g/s measurement range and
a reading accuracy of at least 1.5%;
6.The flow rate of the gas supply may be automatically adjusted
between 647 mg/s and 2000 mg/s, and the gas control system can
ensure that the speed of the gas supply during test changes should
not be greater than 5 mg/s, ensuring the production of heat of 30.7
+ 2 kW;
