1. What is a BTMS?

BTMS stands for Battery Thermal Management System. It is a specialized system designed to control the temperature of battery packs or modules, ensuring that batteries operate within an optimal temperature range. This is crucial for maintaining battery performance, extending service life, preventing safety risks, and optimizing the energy efficiency of the entire battery system.

2. Operating Environment of BTMS

The operating environment of a BTMS is often harsh and includes:

• Wide Temperature Range: The BTMS needs to operate stably within the working temperature range of the battery, typically from -40°C to 60°C, or even higher.
• High Vibration and Shock: The BTMS must withstand high levels of vibration and shock generated during battery operation.
• Humid and Corrosive Environments: The BTMS should be capable of functioning in humid and corrosive conditions, such as rainy weather, snowy environments, or high salt-fog areas.

The features of a BTMS primarily include:

Functional implementation(5KW): 1. The cooling capacity requirement of 5 kW can be realized by adjusting the configuration; 2. PLC liquid heater (6-14kw) with standby Refrigeration, heating, self-circulation working mode; 3. Use CAN 2.0 communication; 4. With the unit fault self-diagnosis function; 5. Upload real-time power information; 6. EMC meets the grade requirements; 7. Unit weight: 38kg ± 1kg;

Functional implementation(8KW): 1. Can be configured with PTC liquid heater, with standby, refrigeration, heating and self-circulation working mode; 2. Network control can be realized; 3.
