Double Cone Mixer
Product description
The main body of the double cone mixer is formed by welding two
cone cylinders and a short cylindrical cylinder into a double cone
shape. It features high mixing efficiency, low material residue and
compact structure. It is suitable for the mixing of various powder
and granular materials and is widely used in the chemical,
pharmaceutical, food and other industrial fields.
Working principle
When the double-cone mixer is in operation, the equipment rotates
around a horizontal axis, driving the materials inside the cone
cylinder to constantly roll up and down and fall. At the same time,
under the geometric structure of the double-cone cylinder, the
materials move in a circular motion along the cylinder wall and
generate cross-flow in the radial and axial directions. This
compound movement enables the materials to continuously undergo
diffusion, convection and shear mixing in three-dimensional space.
Coupled with the alternating effect of centrifugal force and
gravity generated by the rotation of the conical cylinder, it
promotes the interpenetration and position change of different
material particles, ultimately achieving uniform mixing. Moreover,
during the mixing process, the materials are less affected by
mechanical force, making it suitable for scenarios with high
requirements for the uniformity of mixing.
