1. Check the integrity of the device

Make sure the cuff is not damaged, the trachea is not creased or leaking.

Confirm that the cuff model (adult/child/neonatal) matches the patient's body size.

2. Patient preparation

The patient remains seated or lying flat, with the arm relaxed and level with the heart.

Expose the upper arm or ensure that the clothing is not tight (to avoid affecting the measurement).

3. Wrap the cuff correctly

Wrap the cuff around the patient's upper arm with the tracheal interface facing down (towards the palm).

The lower edge of the cuff is about 2-3 cm (about two horizontal fingers) away from the antecubital fossa.

Appropriate tightness: 1-2 fingers can be inserted (too tight or too loose will cause errors).

4. Connect the monitor

Connect the cuff tracheal interface to the NIBP module of the monitor tightly.

Ensure that the tube is not twisted or squeezed.

5.Start measurement

Select NIBP mode on the monitor and set the measurement interval (such as manual/automatic mode).
