Tank trucks are transport vehicles with a tank-shaped body used for
carrying various liquids, liquefied gases,
powdered goods, etc.
The tank body is made of 5083H111 aluminum plate, and the tank
covers on both sides require bending, which
uses 5083-O temper aluminum plate. The O temper is softer, making
it suitable for bending. The partition (fender)
section uses 5083-O temper as well.
In addition, some manufacturers use 5454 H111 aluminum plates to
produce tank bodies

Our Samples
We are good at medium and thick 5xxx/6xxx series aluminum plates
product, and produced
some samples for display. Most samples are used for automobile and
railway transportation
fields.
For oversize sheet, we use Flat Rack Container for shipping
1) We use suitable securing material, such as wooden blocks, steel
straps, and ratchet
tie-downs to firmly fix the aluminum plates to the flat rack.
2) To prevent possible exposure to seawater or rain, we cover the
entire cargo with
waterproof tarps.
3) We make sure these sheets are loaded with a low and evenly
distributed center of
gravity to avoid tilting during the transportation.
Aluminum Material Advantages than other material
Aluminum tank trailers are used to transport petrochemical products
such as diesel, gasoline, kerosene,
methanol, and ethanol. They are light weight with mass as little as
6 tons. Therefore, the weight of goods
carried can be increased. Since the tanker body is made of aluminum
material, this type of trailers does not
need anti-rust treatment and there is no need to worry about rust
residue or damage done by rust. The trailer
material is also environmentally friendly.
