Working principle
Power transmission: The screw conveyor is powered by a motor, and the motor is connected to the screw shaft by a coupling, a reducer and other transmission devices. After the motor starts, the power is transmitted to the spiral shaft, so that the spiral shaft rotates at a certain speed.
Material push: A spiral blade is installed on the spiral shaft. When the spiral shaft rotates, the spiral blade also rotates. After the material enters the chute from the feed port, it will be driven by the spiral blade. Because the spiral blade has a certain pitch and spiral Angle, in the rotation process, it will produce a component force along the spiral axis of the material, which will push the material to move along the axis in the material groove, as the nut rotates on the screw, and the final material is discharged from the discharge port.
Material conveying speed: The conveying speed of the material is related to the speed of the spiral shaft, the pitch of the spiral blade and the characteristics of the material. In general, the faster the spiral shaft speed and the larger the pitch, the faster the material delivery speed. However, for materials with different characteristics, such as materials with large viscosity or poor fluidity, the speed and pitch need to be properly adjusted to ensure that the material can be smoothly transported.
