Vertical screw feeder is an efficient and unique vertical material conveying equipment. The working principle is based on the rotating push of the spiral blade. The motor drives the spiral shaft to rotate at a high speed, and the spiral blade moves accordingly. The material enters from the bottom feed port. Under the thrust generated by the rotation of the blade, the material overcomes gravity and climbs along the spiral trajectory until it is discharged from the top discharge port. The equipment structure is simple and compact, mainly composed of spiral shaft, spiral blade, sealing groove and driving device, closed groove not only good sealing, can effectively avoid material leakage and dust flying, but also ensure the stability of the conveying process.

Working principle
Vertical screw feeder is an efficient vertical material conveying equipment. When working, the motor is energized, and the output torque is driven by the coupling to rotate the spiral shaft at high speed, and the spiral blade on the shaft rotates accordingly. The material enters from the bottom feed port, and the spiral blade produces thrust on the material during rotation due to its unique spiral structure. This thrust is broken down into components along the tangent and vertical directions of the helix, the former making the material move in a circle along the helix, and the latter pushing the material to overcome gravity and rise along the spiral trajectory. The sealing tank is restrained and guided through the whole process until the material is discharged from the top discharge port to complete the conveying.

It is compact in structure, composed of spiral shaft, blade, sealing groove and driving device, with good sealing and stable conveying. Although the conveying capacity is limited, there are requirements for materials, and there are problems such as large energy consumption and easy wear of blades, it still plays an important role with its unique advantages when conveying small particles and low-humidity materials to high places in the food, chemical, food and other industries.
