It has the advantages of simple structure, small footprint, good sealing and high conveying efficiency, which can effectively save space and manpower and achieve efficient vertical conveying of materials, but there are also certain requirements for material particle size and viscosity, and the helix is easy to wear and other limitations.

Working principle
Vertical screw elevator relies on screw propulsion and friction transmission to achieve vertical material transportation. The core part of the spiral body is composed of spiral blades and a central shaft. The driving device drives the central shaft to rotate, and the spiral blades run accordingly. The material falls into the chute from the feed port and is placed on the spiral blade. When the spiral blade rotates, the material is pushed along the direction of the spiral line. The vertical component of this thrust will gradually lift the material upward, while the horizontal component will prevent the material from scattering. At the same time, the friction between the material and the spiral blade and the inner wall of the groove drives the material to move, prevents it from sliding, and helps the material to rise steadily. For materials with large viscosity or poor fluidity, the internal friction between materials can also be used to drive the surrounding materials through the internal friction of some materials driven by the spiral blade to achieve the overall improvement.
