Uniaxial Plastic Geogrid Introduction
Compared with biaxial geogrid production process, the uniaxial
geogrid performs one-way stretching direction during production. In
this process, the one-way stretched resins become directional
linear state and forms an elliptical mesh integrity structure that
is evenly distributed and has extraordinary tensile strength
(＞150Mpa) and tensile modulus, it provides the soil with an ideal
chain force system to bear and diffuse.

Plastic Uniaxial Geogrid Applications
Unidirectional geogrid is used to reinforce soft foundation:
Geogrid can rapidly improve the bearing capacity of foundation,
control the development of settlement, and effectively distribute
the load to a wider subbase, so as to reduce the thickness of base,
reduce the project cost, shorten the construction period and
prolong the service life.
Unidirectional geogrid is used for reinforced asphalt or cement
pavement: laying geogrid at the bottom of asphalt or cement
pavement can reduce rutting depth, prolong pavement fatigue life,
and reduce asphalt or cement pavement thickness to save cost.
