• The BR-50GR is a Type 1 AC surge protector device designed to protect at the entrance of the electrical installation.

• It protects the sensitive lines from the damage caused by lightning induction voltage, power interference, and electrostatic discharge and so on.

• This SPD is particularly useful in a high lightning density area where the risk of heavy surge current or even direct strike is high (eg: buildings equipped with lightning rods).

Class B T1 50kA Lightning Suppressor AC SPD Working principle of product:

Under normal working condition, the lightning protection module is in a high resistance state. When the power supply line has lightning invasion or operation transient overvoltage, the lightning protection module will immediately pass through the response speed of nanosecond level, and limit the lightning overvoltage or transient overvoltage to the voltage range allowed by the electrical equipment, thus protecting the normal operation of the electronic equipment. After that, the lightning protection module quickly returns to the high impedance state without affecting the normal power supply of the grid.

Installation and note:

• Usually installed in the low-voltage main distribution cabinet of the building incoming line.
