Information of Stainless Steel Slurry Feed Screw Conveyor
Screw auger conveyor is an international standard product with new
structure and advanced technical indexes. The head and tail
bearings are moved to the outside of the shell. The middle
suspension bearing adopts rolling and sliding interchangeable
structures. Both of them are equipped with dust-proof sealing
device. The sealing parts are nylon and plastic king. The
resistance is small, the sealing is strong, and the wear resistance
is good. The sliding pad has cast copper tile with lubricant and
wear-resistant cast alloy Iron and copper based graphite oil less
lubricating tile, with cleaning device at the discharge end, the
whole machine has low noise, strong adaptability, convenient
operation and maintenance, and flexible layout of material inlet
and outlet.
Scope of application of auger conveyor: screw machine is widely
used in various industrial sectors, such as building materials,
electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, coal, aluminum and
magnesium, machinery, light industry, grain and food industry; it
is suitable for conveying powdery, granular and small materials,
such as mud, coal powder, grain supply, fertilizer, ash, sand,
etc., with material temperature below 200 ℃. It is not suitable for
the screw machine to transport materials that are easy to
deteriorate, sticky and caking, because these materials will stick
to the screw during transportation, and will rotate without moving
forward, or the accumulation of materials will be formed at the
hanging bearing, which will make the screw machine unable to work
normally.
Characteristics of Stainless Steel Slurry Feed Screw Conveyor
The Auger Conveyor is a kind of continuous conveying equipment
without flexible traction, which uses the rotating screw to move
the conveyed material along the fixed casing. It is as if the
unrotatable nut is held and translated along the screw. The force
that keeps the material from rotating with the screw is the gravity
of the material and the friction against the shell.
The advantages of the screw sprial conveyor are: simple structure,
convenient maintenance, small size of the cross section, can enter
and leave materials at any position in the length direction, and
can use the cover of the tight closed housing to achieve a better
sealing effect.
Therefore, screw conveyor is widely used in various industrial
sectors to transport a variety of powdered, granular and small
materials, such as coal ash, cement, sand, coal, cereals and so on;
it is not easy to transport viscous caking materials which are easy
to deteriorate.
