Structural features of Helical Screw Conveyor
(1) The screw conveyor has three types of spiral blades: solid
spiral surface type, belt spiral surface type and blade spiral
surface type. The solid spiral surface is called s system method,
its spiral pitch GX type is 0.8 times of the blade diameter, LS
type screw conveyor is suitable for conveying powder and granular
materials. Belt type spiral surface is also called D system method,
its spiral pitch is the same as the diameter of the spiral blade,
suitable for conveying powder and small pieces of materials. The
spiral surface of the blade type is less applied, mainly used for
conveying viscous and compressible materials, in the process of
conveying, while completing the mixing, mixing and other processes,
its screw pitch is about 1.2 times of the diameter of the screw
blade.
(2) The screw conveyor's screw blade has two rotational directions:
left and right.
(3) The types of screw conveyor are horizontal fixed screw conveyor
and vertical screw conveyor. Horizontal fixed screw conveyor is the
most commonly used type. Vertical screw conveyor is used for short
distance lifting materials, the conveying height is generally not
more than 8m, the screw blade is solid surface type, it must have
horizontal screw feeding to ensure the necessary feeding pressure.
(4) LS, GX type screw conveyor material outlet end, should be set
up 1/2 ~ 1 circle reverse spiral piece to prevent powder blocking
the end.
(5) The screw conveyor is composed of three parts: screw machine
body, inlet and outlet and driving device.
The body of the screw machine consists of head bearing, tail
bearing, suspension bearing, spiral, housing, cover and base.
The driving device is composed of motor, reducer, coupling and
base.
Application scope of Helical Screw Conveyor
U Model Screw Conveyer is widely used in building materials,
metallurgy, chemical industry, machinery, light industry, grain and
food industry. U Model Screw Conveyer is suitable for conveying
powder Shaped, granular, small bulk materials, such as cement, fly
ash, grain, chemical fertilizer, mineral powder, sand, soda and so
on. U-shaped screw conveyor is not suitable for transporting
materials that are easy to deteriorate, sticky and easy to caking.
The working environment temperature of the conveyor is usually-20
°40 °, the temperature of the conveying material is generally 20
°80 °℃, the U-shaped screw conveyor is suitable for horizontal and
small inclination arrangement, and the inclination angle is not
more than 15 degrees. If the tilt angle is too large, the tubular
screw conveyor should be selected.
