Interface. Manufacturer Product Notice PN 2019-04-002 states that
T8151C Series B or later requires a compatible T8153 hardware issue
G through X; T8153 hardware issues A through F must be replaced
when that communication module is upgraded. Confirm module series,
hardware issue, connector arrangement and system configuration
before installation.
For a T8170 Trusted Gateway Module application, Manufacturer
documentation recommends the T8173 Gateway Adapter instead of
T8153. T8173 is an application-specific engineering alternative,
not a universal drop-in replacement: Ethernet transport and
keyboard/video/mouse connections differ, so hardware selection,
cabling and system engineering must be reviewed.
