Product Description
This IEEE1394 4Pin-to-4Pin FireWire connector cable is designed for compact, high-reliability digital signal transmission between multimedia and industrial devices. Both ends use 4Pin male
connectors, commonly found on DV cameras, external HDD enclosures, audio
interfaces and measurement instruments. Stranded copper cores and a
fully shielded wire cable structure help to minimize electromagnetic interference, ensuring
stable 400 Mb/s data flow for video, audio and control signals in
demanding electronic systems.
The short length and flexible jacket make it ideal for close-range
interconnection inside racks or between neighboring devices,
reducing cable clutter while maintaining secure mating of the
FireWire terminals. This cable can also be integrated into more complex harnesses
with additional power or PCB interfaces, supporting project-level customization for broadcast, server, and light automotive data-logging applications.

Applications
Extending an internal USB-B port to the front or rear panel of
industrial control cabinets
Panel-mounted USB interface for printers, scanners, CNC and 3D
printers
Test benches and laboratory instruments requiring a robust,
chassis-mounted USB-B connector
Embedded controllers and data loggers where the USB service port
needs to be easily accessible
Customized rack systems and enclosures combining multiple USB,
serial and power connectors on one panel
Precautions
Ensure the panel cut-out and screw holes match the bracket size of
the female connector for secure mounting.
Do not exceed the rated current of the USB bus and cable;
high-power loads should use separate power wiring.
Avoid excessive bending near the molded ends to prolong cable life
and maintain consistent USB signal quality.
Route the cable away from strong AC lines and sharp metal edges to
protect the insulation and reduce EMI.
Multi-drop harnesses combining USB-B with other terminal types or different pitch interfaces can be supplied for
project-based orders.
