Product Description
This 4Pin Molex power connector Y splitter cable is designed to convert a single peripheral power output into two female connectors, allowing multiple electronic devices to share one PSU rail. Using 18AWG oxygen-free copper wires and robust crimp terminals, the harness provides stable 5 V and 12 V power transmission to storage drives, case fans, LED lighting, and other peripheral
loads.
Color-coded wires (yellow, red, black) simplify installation and
reduce wiring errors. The compact 4Pin housings with latch design
ensure a secure mating interface even under vibration in desktop,
small server, or industrial chassis. This Y cable is also suitable for DIY
projects where legacy Molex interfaces are used to feed low-voltage
electrical and light signal loads on PCBs or controllers. Customization of length, wire gauge,
connector type, and pin assignment can be provided for OEM harness
projects.

Applications
Splitting one Molex peripheral output to power two HDD/SSD or
optical drives
Providing additional connectors for case fans, pumps, and LED light
strips in PCs and workstations
Low-voltage power distribution in small servers and network
equipment using Molex-type connectors
Bench power supply leads for testing PCB prototypes and other electronic modules
DIY and hobby projects requiring convenient 5 V / 12 V wire cable power taps
Precautions
Confirm the polarity of each connector before use; yellow is typically 12 V, red 5 V, and black ground.
Incorrect wiring may damage connected devices.
Do not exceed the total current capability of the original PSU
Molex output when powering multiple loads.
Route the harness away from sharp edges, moving fan blades, and
high-temperature components to protect insulation and terminals.
When used in enclosed cases, ensure adequate airflow so that
bundles of power wires do not overheat.
Custom versions with different wire lengths, pitches, additional
branches, or other mating connectors can be supplied for project and batch orders.
